Our Community Legal Collective
In the summer of 2020, Michele and a few colleagues formed the Community Legal Collective. In partnership with Zeus Jones, they rapidly organized free legal clinics for individuals, families, and businesses impacted by the Minneapolis/St.Paul civil uprise. Many Twin Cities residents sought safe, confidential and free legal advice, resources and legal forms in many areas of law including domestic abuse, immigration, insurance, real estate, and small business.
ACLU minnesota
Schorbahn Family Law strongly believes in the work and mission of the ACLU — to promote, protect, and extend the civil liberties of Minnesota residents. Michele has volunteered with the ACLU in various capacities and at several events including their Warrant Resolution Day sponsored by ACLU and NAACP.
Planned Parenthood
Schorbahn Family Law encourages both a healthy mind and body. It supports agencies that provide reproductive education and services to women who otherwise do not have access to healthcare.
Saint Paul Ramsey County intervention
Michele has worked in the area of domestic abuse for more than twenty years. She strongly believes in the work of Saint Paul Ramsey County Intervention and the services they provide to victims of domestic abuse.
